How to join the network?

Joining the network is an opportunity for local units to become a part of a sustainable development ecosystem, supported to promote – connect – improve service quality and brand reputation. The registration process is clearly and simply designed, so that every unit – no matter how big or small — can easily do it.

Step 1: Find out information and determine the appropriateness

Before registering, the unit needs to spend time thoroughly learning about the network: vision, mission, operating principles, as well as the rights and responsibilities of members. At the same time, the unit will approach three sets of evaluation criteria of the network:

  • Set of criteria for Green Tourism Assessment for Restaurants – Moc Chau
  • Set of criteria for Green Tourism Assessment for Accommodation Facilities – Moc Chau
  • A set of ecological agriculture criteria for agricultural production units, farms, agricultural models associated with tourism – Moc Chau

Self-assessment of suitability helps the unit clearly determine whether it is qualified and willing to commit to sustainable development with the network or not.

Step 2: Register online according to the type of activity

The unit accesses the section “Register to join the network” on the official website. Here, there will be 3 Google Form links corresponding to 3 business groups:

  • Restaurant

https://forms.gle/VKEMyBwLmyTzSGgF8

  • Cơ sở lưu trú (homestay, farmstay, resort, khách sạn nhỏ…)
  • Sản xuất nông nghiệp (nông trại, hợp tác xã, mô hình canh tác sinh thái…)

The unit selects the link that is suitable for its type and fills in the form. In each form, there are three main contents:

  1. General information of the unit: name, address, representative, contact information, description of activities…
  2. The self-assessment table according to the corresponding set of criteria: helps the unit show the current level of response to ecological requirements and service quality.
  3. Necessary documents attached

After completing and pressing “Send”, the system will automatically send an email confirming the successful registration to the unit.

Step 3: Create a profile and receive registration

After the unit submits the form, the network management board will automatically create a separate profile for the unit in the internal storage system. This profile will be the place to save all registration information, self-assessment table and additional documents later. The unit will receive a confirmation email with a private link to its profile (or shared folder), allowing additional documents to be uploaded upon request.

Step 4: Appraisal and standard classification

The executive board and a team of experts will conduct an appraisal of the unit’s documents. The appraisal may include reviewing the self-assessment table, reviewing evidence documents or field inspection (if necessary). Based on the appraisal results, the unit will be ranked according to the level of meeting the criteria of the network (for example: Basic – Advanced – Pioneer). This transparent classification both encourages the unit to improve quality and helps visitors have reliable information when choosing services.

Step 5: Approve & become an official member

After completing the appraisal process, the unit will receive an approval notice and officially become a member of Moc Chau Ecotourism & Agriculture network. The unit will be:

  • Granting membership certificates and the right to use the network logo.
  • Display information on the map and the official introduction page.
  • Participate in general promotion – communication activities.
  • Connect with other units in the network to develop products, tours and services along the ecological value chain.

To maintain membership, units will be required to update the self-assessment table and participate in annual periodic monitoring, ensuring the overall quality and reputation of the network.
